A Kenwick homeowner had an intermittent circuit failure in the master bedroom that two previous electricians could not resolve. We traced the fault to a deteriorated wire splice inside a wall cavity that had been made without a proper junction box decades earlier. We opened the wall, replaced the splice with a proper box and connectors, and the circuit has worked without issue since.
