Our story

How we got started

Lexington Electrical Contractor was founded in 2014 by Dale Rourke, a licensed Kentucky master electrician who spent twelve years working for a regional utility before starting his own company. Dale started the business because he believed homeowners deserved an electrician who answered the phone, showed up when scheduled, and gave a straight price before starting work.

We began with service upgrades and outlet repairs in the Chevy Chase and Kenwick neighborhoods. Over the following decade the company grew to handle the full range of residential and light commercial electrical work across Fayette County, including panel replacements, EV charger installation, generator hookups, and whole-home rewiring.
