These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lexington Electrical Contractor's website, services, and any quotes, estimates, or invoices we provide. By using our services or accepting a quote, you agree to these Terms.
Estimates are based on the property details, scope of work, and conditions described to us at the time of quoting. We may revise an estimate if conditions on site differ materially from what was described, for example additional square footage, surfaces in worse condition than stated, or access difficulties. We will tell you about any revision before performing additional work.
We schedule on a first-come basis. Weather, equipment failure, or upstream delays may require rescheduling, and we will give you as much notice as possible. You may cancel or reschedule a job up to 24 hours before the scheduled start without charge. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a trip fee.
You agree to provide reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time, including the location of any required water or power connections. You agree to identify any pre-existing damage, fragile features such as specialty paint, custom landscaping, irrigation heads, or security cameras, and any conditions that could affect the work.
We will treat your property with care. You agree to remove or secure delicate items in the work area before our arrival. We are not responsible for damage to items that should have been removed but were not.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the methods listed on your invoice. Late payments are subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.
Card payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us within seven days of completion. We will return at no charge to address legitimate concerns covered by the original scope of work. Warranty does not cover normal wear, weather damage, or conditions outside the original scope.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.
We carry general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available on request.
We may take before and after photos of completed work for our records and, with your permission, use them in marketing materials such as our website portfolio, social media, and advertising. Photos will not include identifying information about your address or family. You may opt out of marketing use at any time by contacting us.
By providing your contact information you authorize us to contact you about your job, invoice, and, with your separate consent, promotional offers. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which we are headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be resolved in the state or federal courts of that state.
